Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The role

As Field Service Engineer, you will visit Service Users homes, Health Care Centres, Schools and other establishments to carry-out repairs to electric or manual wheelchairs.
Key duties.

Analysing, diagnosing faults, modifying and repairing wheelchairs and their controls.
Carrying-out Planned Service Maintenance as agreed.
Delivering, setting up and demonstrating equipment to Services User’s and carers.
Providing clear communication to Service Users and Carers about their current repairs.
Organising and Prioritising own caseload and appointments.
Supporting the team general operations tasks.

Experience of using hand tools and technical ability
Full UK driving licence
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
Team working skills
Flexible and adaptable
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
IT skills
