At Dentistry for Children, technology keeps our practices running so our teams can focus on what matters most: our patients. We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to serve as a mobile technical expert, providing hands-on support for complex desktop, network, and application issues across our Atlanta-area locations. This role is a critical field-based escalation point for our Tier 2 End User Support team, ensuring seamless, fast resolution of critical incidents that keep our offices up and running.

What You'll Do

Serve as the on-site technical expert for complex desktop, network, and application issues that require hands-on troubleshooting

Act as the field-based escalation point for our Tier 2 End User Support team, resolving critical incidents that can't be solved remotely

Diagnose and repair hardware, network, and connectivity issues across multiple practice locations

Collaborate closely with Tier 2 support to ensure smooth handoffs, clear communication, and fast incident resolution

Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, network equipment, and related infrastructure

Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement

Build strong working relationships with practice staff, providing responsive, professional on-site support

What You'll Need

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across desktop, network, and application environments

Experience supporting or collaborating with a help desk / end user support team

Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time within the Atlanta-area territory

Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, field-based schedule
