Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a market leading fuel supplier and distributor with the recruitment of a Field Service Engineer as they grow their customer focused engineering team.

The Field Service Engineer will join a brilliant team of talented Engineers who between them cover a regional patch in Wales, Chester and Manchester.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer from the fuel industry to join a brilliant company in a really varied and interesting role where you can learn and develop your technical skills and your long term career.

The Field Service Engineer will:

  • Install, exchange, and uplift of fuel storage vessels
  • Conduct ten-year testing of Fuel Storage vessels and annual visual inspections of vessels and installations, maintaining comprehensive documentation and compliance records
  • Complete service works and general maintenance on LPG installations, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Attend emergency call-outs when required, including out-of-hours support, responding promptly to customer needs with professionalism and technical competence
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to customers, sales representatives, and internal teams on product storage, distribution systems, and safety requirements
  • Maintain your company vehicle and equipment to high standards, managing your schedule efficiently to deliver excellent service across your territory


Skills and Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer include:

  • ACS Qualified in CCLP1EPC or equivalent certification would be ideal
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience of liquid transfer and vapour recovery systems would be an advantage, but training can be given
  • LPG codes of practice and current safety legislation
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions in the field
  • Strong focus on safety within the workplace with meticulous attention to compliance and best practice
