Tasks

What you can expect

• Fault finding and diagnosis
• Reactive breakdowns
• Planned maintenance and routine servicing
• Unplanned maintenance
• Component replacement
• Installation and commissioning
• Operator training and handover
• Administration and reporting

Qualification

What you bring with you

• Mobile / field based position
• Home based
• Flexible approach towards overtime and overnight stays when work dictates
• Multi skilled required, but electrical bias is preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, electronics, PLC [ Seimens S5/S7 ] mechanical, hydraulics,
• pneumatics required
• High level technical or professional qualifications [ e.g. HNC / HND ] or demonstrable competency such as an apprenticeship
• IT literate
• Consideration and professionalism towards dealing with customers
• Ability to work with the existing team of service engineers
• Consideration and professionalism in dealing with customers maintenance. Pride in one’s workmanship and work quality with good attention to detail.

The advantages

• Basic salary starting circa £30K [ Based on 40 Hour working week ]
• Overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours
