Field Service Engineer (Laser Equipment), $4,500 (Kallang)

Salary: S$3,000 – S$4,500 per month (commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience)
Location: Kallang, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for industrial laser equipment used in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries. This role involves travelling to customer sites across Singapore to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure industrial laser equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.
• Respond to service requests and carry out onsite technical support.
• Follow up on work orders and complete service documentation.
• Test equipment after servicing to ensure proper operation.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers by providing professional technical support.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering ora related Engineering discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of field service or equipment maintenance experience, preferably in the semiconductor, automation or industrial equipment industry.
• Experience servicing laser equipment will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechatronic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
