Field Service Engineer MARINE #HJN

Duties:
• Independently perform start-up, contract maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, service logging, and warranty repairs for gas detectors and related equipment.

• Conduct inspection, testing, servicing, repair, and functional verification of gas detection and associated safety equipment.

• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions with minimal supervision.

• Respond independently to breakdown calls and emergency service requests, ensuring timely resolution and optimal equipment turnaround.

• Manage assigned service orders from initiation to completion, coordinating with Service, Logistics, and relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment.

• Liaise directly with customers and relevant stakeholders on technical issues, service requirements, equipment status, and delivery schedules.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior service personnel or technicians when required.

• Participate in service projects, equipment improvement initiatives, emergency response activities, and other technical assignments as required.

• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Fulfil Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities and participate in relevant safety activities as required by the company.

Requirements:
• Min 5–10 years of experience in service or engineering roles within the Oil & Gas, or Process industries.

• Hands-on experience with instrumentation equipment and instrument measurements is preferred.

• Marine industry experience will be advantageous.
