Field Service Manager

Essential Responsibilities:
- Operational and financial performance of field service activities: revenue, margin, labor utilization, backlog management
- Hiring, scheduling, and development of Field Service Foreman and Field Service Technicians
- Customer communication on job estimates, schedules, progress, and issues for field service work
- Safety program execution and compliance for all field operations — JSA completion, LOTO adherence, site-specific safety requirements
- Review and approval of field service estimates: labor hours, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and margin expectations
- Coordination with Order Coordinators on job entry, invoicing, and scheduling
- Management of field equipment, vehicles, and tools — availability, maintenance, utilization tracking
- Reporting to Regional Senior Service Manager on field service performance, customer issues, and opportunities
- Establishing quality control standards for field work — job documentation, DCI accuracy, customer sign-offs
- Coordination with Shop Manager on work that transitions between field and shop (equipment removal, repair, reinstallation)
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Proven ability to lead a team of Technicians and willingness to work overtime on short notice
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a proactive, customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Basic proficiency with computer applications including Gmail, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment, and materials
- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
