Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of heavy-duty truck/trailer mechanic experience
• Proficiency with Peterbilt (Cummins and Paccar) and Freightliner (Detroit) systems
• Knowledge of belly dump, end dump, acid tankers, and pneumatic trailer systems
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Expertise in suspension repair (bearings, disc and air brake systems, springs, rockers, alignments, etc.)
• Work with our parts personal to manage parts, and tire inventory with in software systems
• Familiarity with electrical systems (ABS, lighting, wiring, etc.)
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a safety-first attitude
• Basic understanding of computer software systems to track parts, repair orders, and diagnostic systems
• Must provide own tools; some specialty tools provided by the company on a service truck
• Maintain a clean work environment following company, OSHA, and MSHA standards
• Ability to perform all types of PM and inspections, service work, tires, and road calls
