Summary

On-site technician installs, repairs, and maintains industrial equipment at client locations, troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues while mentoring junior staff.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under minimal supervision, performs client-site servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job may include any aspect of product field support, including system hardware and software, and systems networking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Installing, servicing, and repairing systems and components at customer sites.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing complex mechanical, hardware, and software failures down to the component level.

  • Customer Support: Serving as the technical contact for client issues and escalating design problems to engineering.

  • Mentorship & Leadership: Training and guiding Level I–III technicians and field engineers.

  • Documentation & Safety: Tracking maintenance, reporting downtime, ordering parts, and following safety policies.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted from the floor to waist level.

  • The ability to read and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.

  • AS Associate of Science degree in Electronics or completion of accredited basic electronics program or equivalent experience.

  • Preferred: Three (3) to Six (6) years of work-related experience, in mechanical, electrical and customer support.

  • Working knowledge of principles of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology is preferred.

  • Residence near Krishnappa Garden
