Field Service Technician II (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems in the field, and traveling across the UK to support critical water treatment infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work independently while making a direct impact on ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge ultrafiltration systems.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our service team, you will travel to customer sites across the UK to perform maintenance, repairs, and replacement of ultrafiltration modules, helping customers maintain essential water treatment operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing ultrafiltration module repair and replacement activities while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site.

• Working independently as well as alongside fellow DuPont technicians on larger projects.

• Building strong customer relationships through professional communication and exceptional service.

• Preparing clear and accurate service reports following customer visits.

• Collaborating closely with the sales and service teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

• Managing travel arrangements and project expenses responsibly while adhering to work order budgets.

• Representing a globally recognized technology leader in the water treatment industry.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK (up to 90%), including occasional weekend travel.

• Proficiency with Windows-based laptops and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

• Ability to safely lift up to 15 kg during a typical workday.

• CSCS Card and/or DOMS Water Hygiene Certification (or willingness to obtain certification).

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Ability to manage travel expenses responsibly, including accommodation, transportation, and meals.

• Commitment to maintaining accurate records, vehicle logs, and equipment maintenance documentation.
