Field Supervisor - Streets

PRIMARY DUTY:

Provide daily supervision of employees in the streets division, including planning, scheduling, organizing, supervising and reviewing their work. Assist with safety, equipment and operational training of the divisional personnel. This position also assists maintaining needed records, materials and supplies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five years or more experience in maintenance and repair of city streets and drainage facilities.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Any combination of education, training, experience and professional skills that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

• Valid Texas Driver's License Class "A" with good driving record.
• Work Zone Safety Certification through IMSA or TEEX.
• Must possess and maintain a Tanker Endorsement.
• Must complete City-required Excavation and Trenching Safety training.
