IDEXX Laboratories Field Support Representative
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a customer-focused veterinary professional to join our field support team. This role is a perfect next step if you enjoy combining technical expertise, training, and relationship building to support veterinary clinics and help customers get the most from IDEXX diagnostic solutions. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone based in Christchurch, covering the South Island and part of the North Island, and who thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

In this role:
You will install and support IDEXX diagnostic equipment, product and services within veterinary clinics.
You will provide education, onboarding, and training to veterinary clinic teams.
You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and help customers identify effective solutions.
You will build strong, long-term relationships with veterinary professionals and clinic teams.
You will collaborate closely with commercial and internal support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You will promote IDEXX products and services, helping drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and successful clinic outcomes.
You will travel extensively throughout your assigned territory to support customers in person.
What you need to succeed:
You have a qualification in Veterinary Nursing or another relevant Science discipline.
You have significant experience within the veterinary industry, ideally as a Senior Veterinary Nurse, Team Leader, Practice Manager, or in another veterinary leadership capacity.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can adapt your style to different audiences.
You have strong organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.
You have experience providing technical support and troubleshooting customer issues.
You are confident delivering training and education to diverse groups.
You have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy researching solutions to complex challenges.
You work collaboratively across teams and build positive working relationships.
You have knowledge of veterinary medicine, clinic workflows, or diagnostic processes.
You are comfortable travelling extensively (up to 85% of the time) throughout your assigned territory and enjoy working independently across a large geographic region
A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
