Field Technician
Summary
Traveling field technicians clean and passivate high-purity piping systems at data centers across the U.S., with no prior experience required. They receive paid training and work with specialized chemical cleaning equipment and pumps to support critical data center infrastructure construction and maintenance.

Astro Pak is hiring Traveling Field Technicians to join our nationwide Data Center team. In this role, you'll travel to Data Center projects across the U.S., performing specialized cleaning and passivation services on high-purity piping systems that support critical infrastructure.
No industry experience? No problem. We provide paid training and the opportunity to build a long-term technical career.

What You'll Do
- Travel to data center job sites throughout the U.S.
- Perform specialized chemical cleaning and passivation of piping systems
- Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and other field equipment
- Safely handle chemicals while following strict safety procedures
- Work alongside a team to complete customer projects safely and efficiently
Travel & Schedule
- Nationwide travel (80%+)
- Projects typically last 6-8 weeks, with opportunities to return home between assignments when scheduling allows
- Frequent overtime available
- 30-50% night shift work
- Weekend and holiday work may be required based on project needs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Real ID or Passport for air travel
- Ability to attend two weeks of paid training in California or Texas
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in PPE
- Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
- Willing to travel extensively
