Description

We are looking for a Field Trainer to build and strengthen our internal training systems across all outlets. This role focuses on designing structured training programmes, setting competency standards, and ensuring our teams consistently meet service and operational benchmarks.

You will work closely with outlet managers to identify skills gaps, develop training materials, and measure the effectiveness of our programmes. This is a design-and-strategy role—not a floor supervision position.

Key Responsibilities

Training Design & Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis across outlets to identify competency gaps in service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures.

  • Design structured training curricula with clear learning outcomes, lesson plans, and assessment rubrics.

  • Develop standardised competency benchmarks for each role, aligned with internal service and operational standards.

  • Create training materials including practical assessment checklists, e-learning content, and workplace guides.

Assessment & Certification

  • Administer competency assessments for new hires and existing staff against defined standards.

  • Maintain assessment records and certification tracking for internal audit purposes.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through post-training reviews and performance data.

  • Prepare training reports for management, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.

Programme Coordination

  • Oversee structured onboarding and induction programmes for new outlet staff.

  • Coordinate training schedules across outlets, managing trainer allocation and resource planning.

  • Track trainee progress through defined milestones, conducting competency reviews at regular intervals.

  • Maintain training documentation to ensure all records meet internal requirements.

Professional Advice & Engagement

  • Advise outlet managers on training interventions that support outlet performance goals.

  • Engage stakeholders on the purpose and expected outcomes of training programmes.

  • Support managers in embedding new service and operational standards into daily routines.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the rollout of new menus, service protocols, and operational processes through structured training interventions.

  • Analyse training data—assessment pass rates, competency gaps, outlet completion rates—to identify systemic issues.

  • Recommend curriculum improvements based on performance data and operational feedback.

  • Work with the Operations Manager to align training programmes with outlet performance goals.
