Field Trip Supervisor
Job Title: Zone – Field Trip Supervisor

Essential Functions
The Field Trip Supervisor is under the direction of The Zone Recreation Supervisor Responsible for assisting the field trip instructors (Superhero Parkour Academy) with setup, clean up, waiver collection, and general management of the field trip.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obey the practical safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the safety program of the River Trails Park District
- Develop a thorough understanding of the park district’s policies and operations and enforce them in a positive manner
- Must arrive at the center 15 minutes before scheduled time to work
- Carry out all rules and regulations of The Zone field trips
- Follow all opening and closing procedures
- Ensure there is a safe environment for the participants and staff in the building
- Responsible for carrying out all emergency procedures and keeping accurate records of all occurrences
- Must attend all staff meetings and safety programs
- Follow all safety procedures for handling equipment
- Perform other duties and functions as required .
Specific Tasks to the Position
- Assist patrons and make sure that forms and waivers are filled out correctly
- Greet patrons while they are entering and exiting the facility
- Rounds of the parkour area, turf and party room areas must be completed every 15-20 minutes
- Setup and take down tables, chairs etc… as needed for field trips, rentals etc…. Setup must be finished prior to the start time of the field trip
- Have field trip paperwork for contact information and if / what fees are to be collected
- Oversee trip goes and renters making sure they are following safety rules and other best practices
- At the time of departure, staff and the renter must check the entire room for damage. Staff is to inform the field trip renter that any damage will be reported to RTPD FT staff and that the renter will be charged for repair or replacement
- Cleanup the rented or used room
Required Qualifications
- 16 years or older
- Ability to who work well with the public, including children, and want to provide excellent customer service
- Flexible hours, mainly prior to 1p.
- Work in conjunction with contractual staff (SPA)
