The Planet Group is looking for a Figma Migration Program Lead to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 9-months contract, working Remote within commutable distance of Culver City or Cupertino.

Figma Migration Program Lead | Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical program management or implementation consulting experience.
  • Expert level knowledge of Figma features and administration model.
  • Experience deploying enterprise-wide design-tool solutions, ideally for creative organizations.
  • Informed on Figma's product roadmap and enterprise capabilities
  • Excellent program delivery skills: planning, dependency management, and stakeholder communication and alignment across highly matrixed and distributed teams of all levels and functions
  • Track record of building processes from scratch in environments where business and workflow requirements may only be loosely documented
  • Experience driving adoption of new practices, processes, or tools across multiple teams or organizations
  • Comfortable operating within a highly confidential environment, with sound judgment around access control, secrecy, and information-handling policies
  • Skilled at navigating organizational dynamics and overcoming resistance to change
  • Able to distill complex information and present data in clear, easy-to-understand formats
  • Proficient in Numbers, Keynote, and various collaboration software (e.g., Quip, Slack)
  • Bonus: Background in UX/UI or frontend development

Figma Migration Program Lead | Description:

  • Partner with designers and producers to assess current workflows, pain points, and requirements
  • Collaborate with core project team to design workspace architecture, permission models, and governance frameworks aligned to business needs
  • Configure and deploy Figma workspaces, libraries, and access groups
  • Build and deliver tailored training for users from beginner to advanced skill levels
  • Drive adoption and change management, including communications and engagement strategy
  • Serve as the org's primary knowledge source for Figma questions, best practices, and troubleshooting
  • Monitor Figma's product roadmap and cascade relevant changes
  • Liaise with the internal Figma team about their roadmap for Figma features and integration with other internal tools
  • Evaluate and optimize processes on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure Figma workspaces, files, and access permissions comply with data classification, confidentiality, and secrecy requirements, including restricting access to unreleased or sensitive product/design work
