File Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary
The File Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the store’s pricing, signing, scanning, and file maintenance functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. This position leads file maintenance associates, supports operational execution, maintains pricing integrity, and ensures customers receive accurate pricing throughout the store. The File Maintenance Supervisor works closely with store leadership and department teams to support efficient store operations and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities File Maintenance Operations- Oversee daily file maintenance activities, including price changes, sign production, and scanning accuracy.
- Ensure all pricing updates are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Monitor execution of promotional, seasonal, and ad-related pricing changes.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing standards and operational procedures.
- Coordinate workload and priorities to meet department objectives.
- Maintain accurate records related to pricing and file maintenance activities.
- Ensure shelf tags, signs, and promotional materials are accurate and properly displayed.
- Verify pricing integrity throughout the store through regular audits and reviews.
- Identify and correct pricing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain compliance with scanning accuracy requirements and company guidelines.
- Support store departments with pricing, signage, and promotional execution.
- Ensure ad changes and promotional updates are completed on schedule.
- Supervise, coach, and develop file maintenance associates.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor completion of department responsibilities.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new associates.
- Provide performance feedback and support associate development.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Serve as a department resource for pricing and file maintenance questions.
- Assist with store audits, inventory activities, and operational reviews.
- Support department managers with pricing-related concerns and corrections.
- Coordinate with store leadership to resolve pricing, scanning, and signage issues.
- Assist with implementation of company programs and system updates.
- Support operational projects and special assignments as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a customer-first culture.
- Assist customers with pricing inquiries and concerns.

- Ensure associates provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance.
- Support a positive shopping experience through pricing accuracy and store presentation.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, pricing regulations, and operational procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive pricing and operational information.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report and address safety concerns promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, grocery, pricing, file maintenance, or administrative experience preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with computer systems and retail technology.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to use computers, handheld devices, and office equipment frequently.
