Final Assembler - First Shift

Performs a variety of diversified bench assembly operations on basic complexity aircraft furniture requiring basic tolerance fitting, adjusting and the ability to work from basic instructions and making of minor decisions, using minimal judgment. May work under the guidance of higher grade Final Assembler.

Installs mechanisms, drawers, latches etc.

Assures proper operation of all equipment and complies with worker’s personal protective gear requirements.

Touchup paint as necessary.

Operates screen print tools to apply verbiage detail to furniture. (ex. 20lb Weight Limit)

Use of adhesives, resins and epoxies.

Operates basic power and hand tools such as table saws, drills, grinders, sanders, wrenches and screw drivers.

Responsible only for own work.

Performs other related duties as required.
