Overall Requirements:
We are looking for an individual to work in our Operation Department to review and close production work orders and prepare orders for our shipping team to execute.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable of all ESD precautions to protect equipment
- Ability to handle ESD sensitive equipment of various weights an dimensions safely
- Ability to enter information into Floor tool to update work order status and prepare order to be handed to the shipping team
- Knowledge of networking cards and technology is an asset
- Knowledge of workflow in a production environment is an asset as well
- Perform entries into ERP systems with knowledge of Advance Pro and NetSuite is a definite asset
- Perform final Inspection of product leaving the production area to ensure documentation is accurate and order pricing is correct
- Assist production as required
- Assist in shipping/receiving as required
Education & Experience:
- Previous Telecommunications experience is a plus
- Knowledgeable with ESD products
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive transactions with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously as well as efficiently with department heads and associates to perform assigned duties
- Ability to re-prioritize one’s activities to deal with various conditions or conflicting requests and work under pressure
- Adaptive to workload peaks and need for OT
- Able to regularly lift and /or safely lift and handle heavy loads, both manually and with devices
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 working environment asset
- Read, understand and carry out written instructions
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite
