Finance & Accounting Working Student (f/m/x) - Lunar X (Starting in September 2026)

As a working student in the Finance Department, you will play a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. You will directly support our accountant, handling essential tasks that keep our finance functions running smoothly. This role is perfect for a student with an interest in accounting and finance who enjoys working with data and wants to gain practical, hands-on experience by contributing to the team’s daily workflow.

Daily Accounting Operations

  • Support day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.

  • Assist the accountant with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.

  • Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.


Data & Process Management

  • Maintain and organize financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring high data accuracy and integrity.

  • Monitor financial data to identify discrepancies or errors.

  • Proactively handle administrative finance tasks to support the team’s efficiency.


What makes you a great fit

  • You are highly reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently on recurring tasks.

  • You have a strong interest in understanding how accounting and finance processes work in practice.

  • You are comfortable handling data and have a good grasp of Excel or similar spreadsheet software.


  • Currently enrolled in at least the fourth semester of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Have availability for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a minimum proficiency level of B1/B2 in German and English required for this position.
  • To qualify for this role, candidates are required to reside and be officially registered in Berlin, Germany.
  • On-site for at least two days/week.
