Finance and Accounting Associate
You will manage daily accounting and financial operations across Austrian and US entities, including invoices, transactions, accounts receivable and payable, cash management, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and financial statements. You will also support audits, budgets, forecasts, automation, and digital finance process design.
Responsibilities
- Manage financials and daily accounting operations across entities
- Perform accounting under Austrian Commercial Code and US GAAP
- Prepare and verify invoices
- Settle intercompany accounts and transfer pricing
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Manage cash and fixed assets
- Perform intercompany accounting
- Support financial statement preparation
- Collaborate on finance automation projects
- Support financial statement audits
- Design digital financial processes
- Integrate AI tools into finance processes
- Participate in budgets and forecasts
- Support operational teams with finance matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, quantitative finance, business, or a related field
- 1-2 years of finance or accounting experience
- Austrian GAAP knowledge
- Invoice processing experience
- Expense management experience
- Bank posting experience
- General ledger experience
- Curiosity about crypto, blockchain, and digital finance
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently
- Clear workload and timeline communication
