Finance and Accounting Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Finance and Accounting Associate to join our team in Maharashtra, focusing on the delivery of multiple finance and accounting processes for our US account. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including general ledger and sub-ledger accounting, accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) management, and the preparation of annual financial statements. You will also be involved in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and client reporting, supporting statutory accounting and audits, and preparing trackers, issue logs, and management information systems (MIS). Timely escalation of issues to leadership is crucial, as is adherence to delivery service requests with 100% compliance to client service level agreements (SLAs). Key requirements for this role include fluency in written and spoken English, strong communication and presentation skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to understand and interpret legal and regulatory concepts, be self-driven and highly motivated, and capable of working independently. A solution-oriented approach with strong analytical skills is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Candidates with a background in Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) are preferred. Additionally, semi-qualified Chartered Accountants with experience ranging from 4 to 6 years, particularly those who have cleared both groups of CA Intermediate, will be highly regarded. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be considered an added advantage.
