Finance and Accounting Director
Location: Northern Adriatic
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate management, monitoring, reconciliation, and control of all the Company’s business transactions, accounting documentation, and records covering all aspects of the Company’s operations
- Responsible for the accurate calculation, verification, processing, posting, and allocation of all business transactions of the Company
- Developing internal financial and accounting standards, processes, procedures, policies, and internal regulations
- Monitoring legislation, regulations, and the Company’s internal acts relating to accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, and ensuring the Company’s compliance with them
- Managing the Company’s liquidity and working capital
- Ensuring the timely processing of accounting entries, payments, payroll, and VAT calculations
- Managing, supervising, and preparing the Company’s internal accounting records
- Preparing financial statements for the Company’s internal and external needs
- Preparing proposals and recommendations for Management in the areas of finance, accounting, and reporting
- Providing professional guidance and instructions for accounting operations, as well as managing and developing employees within the department
Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Relevant experience in similar positions in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of VAT and payroll calculation
- Experience in employee and departmental development within the function
