Finance Applications Functional Consultant (Management Reporting and Compliance)

Job Description

• Responsible for assessing requirements, driving functional design and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Preferred technology skills either SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Group Reporting or SAP Controlling
• Familiar with management reporting , budgeting, forecasting and data analytics
• Knowledgeable in the application of IFRS 15 and IFRS 18

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive the solutioning and assessment of requirements during project implementation phases and change request or enhancements activities
• Understands business requirements and processes and is able to translate it to technical language - vice versa.
• May act as Solutions Designer of a project and lead the creation of the Solution Plan (SP), implementation until cutover.
• Works with business users, SMEs, Project Managers and Solution Leads of the applications involved in the project
• Ensures that production issues are monitored and addressed.
• Complies with Globe's process documents and framework
• Reports and aligns tasks to his/her supervisor, ES leads and Domain leader

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have Technical & Experience Requirements

General Experience: General Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in SAP Consulting or SAP In-house Support

Domain Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise finance applications, preferably SAP CO and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Project Lifecycle: 2+ years of end-to-end project implementation experience, spanning from solution design and build phases through to hypercare and post-go-live support.


Must-Have Soft Skills & Competencies

Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate business requirements into functional language (and vice versa).

Autonomy & Organization: Strong time management capabilities; able to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks and solution plans.

Drive & Mindset: Highly self-motivated, performance-oriented, and eager to continuously learn. Possesses a "can-do" attitude that confidently challenges the status quo.

Customer Focus: A strong service-oriented attitude dedicated to supporting business users, SMEs, and project managers.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Highly Preferred)

Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).

Targeted SAP Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with or knowledge of the application of IFRS 15 and IFRS 18 standards.
