Internal Firm Services (IFS) is a network of specialist support professionals, which includes Clients & Markets, Finance, Human Capital, Marketing & Communications, Office Management, Risk & Quality, Technology, to name a few. Each function plays a vital role in making sure we have all the right resources, services and technology across our business.
Business Unit Overview
The Finance function within Internal Firm Services (IFS) drives financial integrity, performance insights, and operational efficiency across the firm. It partners closely with leadership and business units to manage financial planning, reporting, compliance, and decision support. By leveraging data, systems, and best practices, the team ensures sustainable growth and strategic alignment across the Middle East region.
What you'll bring
As a Finance Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Manage and improve financial processes across Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior leadership decision-making
- Support audits by maintaining documentation and responding to auditor queries
What you’ll bring
Years of experience:
0-3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, reporting, or analysis
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Designations & certifications:
CPA / ACCA / CMA (completed or in progress strongly preferred)
Other relevant certifications are a plus
Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Exposure to automation tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
Soft skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
