Finance Automation & RPA Lead Expert (m/f/d)
Summary
Leads finance automation and RPA initiatives within a shared service center, identifying process improvements, coordinating with finance and IT teams, and scaling digital solutions.
We are looking for a Finance Automation & RPA role for our Finance Shared Service Center. In this role, you will be the local contact for automation topics and help us scale digital Finance solutions in a structured and sustainable way. You will work closely with Finance Operations, Finance Process Owners, IT and the global Automation/RPA Team.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Identify and document automation, RPA, workflow and AI-assisted improvement opportunities in Finance SSC processes.
- Gather, structure and validate business requirements, including accounting logic, controls and data quality needs.
- Support existing automation solutions and coordinate incidents, changes, testing and business-side root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with IT and global automation experts; involve vendors or implementation partners only where required.
- Report automation pipeline, status, risks and benefits to local management and the global Automation/RPA Team.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience in Finance SSC processes or comparable Finance Operations environments.
- Good accounting know-how and strong understanding of Finance processes, postings, reconciliations, controls and reporting requirements.
- Digital affinity and good understanding of automation technologies, workflow solutions, RPA and AI use cases in Finance.
- Experience in working with automation solution providers is beneficial, but not required for the core role.
- Structured, proactive working style with strong communication skills and fluent English.

Basic gross guaranteed salary: 2100 EUR/Brutto
