Finance Automation & RPA Lead Expert (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Finance Automation & RPA role for our Finance Shared Service Center. In this role, you will be the local contact for automation topics and help us scale digital Finance solutions in a structured and sustainable way. You will work closely with Finance Operations, Finance Process Owners, IT and the global Automation/RPA Team.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Identify and document automation, RPA, workflow and AI-assisted improvement opportunities in Finance SSC processes.
• Gather, structure and validate business requirements, including accounting logic, controls and data quality needs.
• Support existing automation solutions and coordinate incidents, changes, testing and business-side root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with IT and global automation experts; involve vendors or implementation partners only where required.
• Report automation pipeline, status, risks and benefits to local management and the global Automation/RPA Team.

What do we expect from you?

• Experience in Finance SSC processes or comparable Finance Operations environments.
• Good accounting know-how and strong understanding of Finance processes, postings, reconciliations, controls and reporting requirements.
• Digital affinity and good understanding of automation technologies, workflow solutions, RPA and AI use cases in Finance.
• Experience in working with automation solution providers is beneficial, but not required for the core role.
• Structured, proactive working style with strong communication skills and fluent English.

Basic gross guaranteed salary: 2100 EUR/Brutto
