ROLE Summary

As a Finance Business Partner – Gateway Hong Kong, you will support Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Attraction in driving financial performance, providing insightful analysis and drive best practice in the business. You will also provide LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Hong Kong with basic financial reporting while this remains the responsibility of Merlin under a Transitional Services Agreement.

You will assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Partnering closely with attractions teams, marketing and revenue management to drive performance, optimise business decisions, look for improvements and support strategic objectives.

You will act as a conduit between central functions, attraction teams and the Finance team, balancing day-to-day operational needs with long-term planning and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support the preparation of accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyse variances between actual and forecasted performance, identifying key drivers.
  • Support optimising trading performance whilst supporting revenue management and marketing and attraction teams to shape future strategies.

Business Partnering

  • Provide financial advice and insights to non-finance teams to drive decision-making in Hong Kong.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their financial needs and deliver relevant data.
  • Provide financial guidance and challenge to ensure efficiency.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
  • Prepare statutory and government reporting including managing any audits.

Process improvement & systems

  • Support process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is desirable.Experience in a finance role (preferably in a business partnering).Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting processes.

Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with non-financial stakeholders.

Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
