THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an exceptional Manager of Finance Business Partnering to join our leadership team and help shape commercial and operational performance across Heler Foods.
This is more than a finance role. It’s an opportunity to sit at the heart of the business, partnering with Finance, Commercial and Operations to turn financial data into meaningful insight, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve margins, efficiency and profitability.
As the lead for Finance Business Partnering, you will:
- Lead product and standard costing activities, ensuring costings accurately reflect manufacturing costs and commercial assumptions.
- Partner with Commercial teams on pricing opportunities, customer profitability, forecasting and margin optimisation.
- Provide clear, insightful analysis of commercial and operational performance, translating financial information into actions and decisions.
- Own actual versus standard cost reporting, operational P&L analysis, cost centre reporting and key manufacturing performance measures.
- Work alongside site leadership teams to identify efficiencies, challenge performance and validate cost-saving opportunities.
- Review labour performance, productivity and conversion costs to support operational excellence.
- Develop and report meaningful performance indicators including gross margin per tonne, cost of production, labour cost per tonne, actual versus standard costs, OEE and wider manufacturing performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly business reviews and continuous improvement activity across the Group.
- Ensure pricing structures and commercial information are accurately maintained within the ERP system.
- Champion a positive, solutions-focused culture where data, curiosity and constructive challenge help us continually improve.
You’ll be joining a workplace where collaboration and curiosity are encouraged. Where questioning “how it’s always been done” is part of daily life. And where discovering better ways of working is simply what we do.
ABOUT YOU
We want to work with people who are bold, ambitious and ready to shape the future, people who share our values and bring energy, ideas and commitment.
You’ll bring:
- A recognised accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Significant finance experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in product costing, standard costing, manufacturing finance, stock valuation and financial planning and analysis.
- The ability to turn complex financial information into clear commercial insight and influence business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge at all levels.
- Exceptional commercial awareness, analytical capability and a naturally inquisitive approach.
- A track record of taking ownership, driving results and remaining calm and rational under pressure.
- Behaviours aligned to our values: Be Better, Be Collaborative, Be Inquisitive, Be Yourself, Take Ownership.
Experience within dairy, food manufacturing or wider food production would be particularly valuable, as would experience supporting change programmes or systems implementation projects.
We help our people become the best versions of themselves, take pride in what they do and bring out the strength in others. If that excites you, you’ll fit right in here.
WHY JOIN HELER FOODS?
Because we don’t just offer jobs, we shape careers.
At Heler Foods, you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, challenge how we work and directly contribute to the performance of a growing food manufacturing business.
Here, you’ll find:
- Strong training foundations
- Clear, meaningful paths to progress
- A workplace where curiosity is celebrated
- A supportive, dynamic and collaborative environment

This is a place where you’ll be empowered to make a change, challenge constructively and take ownership of delivering better business outcomes.
