Finance Controller - Alternative Investment Funds - Banking/Financial Services - CA

Role & Designation: Finance Controller, GIFT City

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar

Experience: 8 - 12 years

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to AIFs and accounting standards.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements for the fund, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and reviews specific to AIFs.

- Responsible for branch level accounts for investment manager books of accounts.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and maintain financial models specific to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.

- Monitor financial performance of the AIF fund(s), analyze variances, and provide insights to senior management.

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports tailored to the AIF industry.

Strategic Initiatives:

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.

- Evaluate investment opportunities specific to AIFs and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Expected Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a similar industry, mutual fund.

- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

- Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
