Finance Controller Brazil
· To manage the activities of the team under his/her responsibility in the technical aspects, giving support and training, assisting the immediate management in the generation of information and reaching the defined deadlines, suggesting necessary action plans, aiming to contribute to the achievement of the department's goals.
· Preparation of monthly balance sheets (accounting and management), ensuring their correctness and compliance with the company's standards and current legislation.
· To manage, together with the Management, the monthly accounting closing, seeking to ensure compliance with the deadlines stipulated by the legislation and full compliance with the internal procedures.
· Elaboration and coordination of the calendar of activities of the accounting team, to execute the procedures in a timely manner for the respective analyzes and deliveries of accessory obligations to them.
· Communication with the operational and business areas, in prevention of errors and preparation for entry information of the accounting numbers.
· Survey of the control failures and occasional errors, reporting to management in a timely manner for corrections, if any.
· Creation of control, preventive and detective processes, in the accounting process.
· To guide and monitor the implementation of standards and accounting processes in the Company’s system, identifying opportunities for optimization or inconsistencies in the processes, aiming to provide agility and ensure reliability of the processes performed.
· Assist the Management in the execution of actions necessary for the implementation of requests and guidelines emanating from the board/parent, developing new reports, identifying the source and the correct allocation of the data, seeking to meet the objectives of the applicants.
· Elaboration of analysis and disclosure of economic-financial information, aiming to subsidize decision making by the different levels of command.
To manage the service to the external auditors, providing data, information and documents, aiming at clarifying doubts and proving compliance with the policies, rules and regulations.
