# Finance Controller ## Company Overview We're partnering with a leading, investor-backed electric vehicle (EV) mobility platform to hire a Finance Controller. This organization is at the intersection of electric mobility, technology, and infrastructure, focusing on building a scalable finance function for a rapidly growing business. ## Job Summary The Finance Controller will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will play a key role in establishing and managing the financial aspects of the organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial processes, compliance, and reporting. ## Responsibilities - Lead **financial controllership**, reporting, and compliance efforts within the company. - Manage **treasury**, cash flow, and working capital to ensure financial stability. - Oversee **inventory**, fixed assets, capital expenditure accounting, and maintain effective internal controls. - Ensure adherence to **statutory, tax, and audit compliance** requirements. - Drive improvements in finance processes, optimize **Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)** systems, and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency. ## Qualifications - **Education**: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience. - Strong experience in **Financial Controllership**, Treasury management, Inventory control, Fixed Assets oversight, and ensuring Compliance. - Background in **asset-heavy industries** such as Electric Vehicles (EV), Mobility, Logistics, Manufacturing, Automotive, Infrastructure, or Transportation. - Proven skills in **stakeholder management** and a track record of driving process improvements and establishing robust internal controls. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools. - Exposure to risk management and strategic financial planning. - Leadership experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments. ## Experience - Minimum **10 years** of experience in finance-related roles, specifically in areas pertaining to controllership, treasury, and compliance. ## Environment This position is based in **Bangalore** and may require working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment focused on the EV mobility sector. ## Salary Not specified. ## Growth Opportunities Potential career advancement opportunities within the finance department as the organization expands and evolves. ## Benefits Not specified.
