JOB PURPOSE

You will be primarily responsible for providing complex accounting and financial services. You will periodically provide reports and special analyses to management. Responsible for the forecasting and budgeting process, with a focus on manufacturing and logistics, including the analysis of variances in each category; secondarily, responsible for assisting with the consolidation of information, analysis, and reports for each assigned entity and business unit, as well as analyzing investment and cost-saving projects, and providing support for quotes related to specification changes and/or new products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts analyses and supports the Manufacturing and Logistics departments with financial studies

• Responsible for the monthly closing process for assigned areas, including account reconciliation and review of the monthly financial reporting package.

• Responsible for the PRMs specific to each reporting unit.

• Ensures the integrity of accounting records through periodic account reviews.

• Monitors and reviews the annual budget with the various departments

• Monitors and reviews the monthly forecast with the various departments.

• Monitors and reviews the cyclical inventory process for Production, Raw Materials, and Overhead.

• Responsible for calculating payroll costs for forecasts and budgets.

• Uploads monthly results to One Stream (OS) along with monthly and quarterly supplementary schedules.

• Prepares and uploads the monthly forecast to OS, along with its supplementary schedules.

• Performs reconciliations of inventory, freight, warranties, and expense provisions.

• Prepares expense provisions and services pending receipt into the warehouse.

• Assist in preparing the monthly package for the results meeting with management.

• Preparation of various sales analyses for different scenarios: Current, Forecast, and Budget.

• Support for management control activities across business units.

• Preparing and conducting the annual physical inventory in collaboration with the Materials and Logistics team.

• Responsible for annual product costs.

• Responsible for maintaining financial views in the materials master file.

• Monitoring and promptly addressing internal and external audit requirements.

• Knowledge of the SAP FICO ERP system.

• Analyze cost variances (materials, labor, overhead).

• Control and optimize production and logistics costs.

• Calculate margins by product, line, or customer.

• Validate inventory levels and ensure correct valuation (FIFO, weighted average, etc.).


What are we looking for?


• Education: Certified Public Accountant or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• Years of experience in a similar position: 3 years or more in a similar position.

• Required technical knowledge: General accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, financial statements, auditing, Microsoft Office, SAP, ERP systems, advanced Excel.

• Other requirements: Ethics and values, results-oriented, problem-solving skills.
