Why this role exists

If you've spent years signing off on other companies' numbers, here's a chance to build the numbers yourself, inside a healthtech that's rewriting how healthcare works in Brazil.

This is a brand new position inside FinOps. Today the team runs on three fronts, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury, and this role sits transversally across all three, built from scratch with direct support from our Head of Finance. You won't inherit someone else's playbook. You'll write it.

What you'll actually do:

• Lead DIOPS audits with ANS and own our financial statements across entities (Alice OPS, TEC, Holding).

• Build the source of truth for every accounting, tax, and regulatory workflow we run..

• Design our technical accounting policy and internal controls framework from scratch.

• Bring AI into reconciliations and reporting, not as a buzzword, as an actual redesign of how the work gets done.

• Influence decisions on our 10 year corporate strategy, without ever owning the close yourself.

Who thrives here:

• Senior accountant, active CRC, 7+ years in.

• Strong technical grip on BRGAAP, IFRS, and the incoming IFRS 17/18 and tax reform changes.

• Real experience in internal audit or building corporate controls (not just external audit signoff).

• A track record of mapping and redesigning financial workflows, not just following them.

• You've used automation or AI to kill manual reconciliation work, and you want to do it again.

• You can influence teams that don't report to you. That's the job, not a nice to have!

Soft Skills:

• Ability to lead discussions on sensitive cases with senior leadership, articulating arguments clearly while remaining open to different perspectives.

• Strong judgment to identify and prioritize risks based on impact.

• Ability to simplify complex issues by translating them into practical and accessible solutions.

• Positive influence and resilience, maintaining composure and inspiring others in challenging situations, with emotional intelligence and situational communication skills.

• Proactive mindset, actively contributing solutions to address challenges (e.g.: felt the team has many doubts? Be proactive in organizing a training session!).

• Ability to work in a sustainable and scalable way, creating processes that ensure continuity and operational autonomy without centralization.

How we work – Onsite, with flexibility

We love working together in person at our office (located at Avenida Rebouças 3535, in Pinheiros — and yes, it’s beautiful!). We're looking for people who will also enjoy being here and know when it makes sense to work from elsewhere. As a reference, the teams you’re applying for goes to the office 2 times a week.
