We are looking for a Finance & Cost Controlling / ERP Data Specialist

Main Tasks

• Support financial transformation and ERP implementation projects, with a strong focus on cost controlling and financial data.
• Support the preparation, analysis and validation of financial and operational cost data.
• Contribute to budgeting, cost controlling, FP&A and management reporting activities.
• Support data migration, data preparation and financial systems transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain mapping tables, data transformation rules, reconciliations and functional documentation.
• Analyse data quality and identify inconsistencies, gaps and discrepancies across different systems and data sources.
• Translate business and finance requirements into functional data and system requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to define and validate processes, data requirements and solutions.
• Participate in and contribute to workshops with stakeholders, challenging assumptions and supporting decision-making.
• Support the documentation and optimisation of financial processes, controls and data flows.
• Use Excel and other data analysis tools to structure, analyse, validate and reconcile datasets.
• Contribute to project documentation and support the implementation of new financial and cost control solutions.
• Work with international stakeholders and be available for occasional business travel to Rotterdam.e.

Main Skills & Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in Finance, Cost Controlling, FP&A, Management Reporting or a related area.
• Practical experience with budgeting, cost controlling, FP&A or management reporting.
• Previous experience in ERP implementation, data migration, financial systems transformation or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with data mapping, transformation rules, reconciliations and functional documentation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power Query, SQL or similar data analysis tools is a strong plus.
• Experience with IFS is highly valued.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex financial and operational datasets.
• Ability to lead workshops, challenge data and assumptions, and drive decisions with stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
• Availability for occasional travel to Rotterdam.
• Methodical, pragmatic and assertive approach.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership and ability to work independently.

• This role offers a gross annual salary between 24.500€ to 60.500€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
