Finance Director

An established and diversified organisation is seeking an experienced finance leader to strengthen its senior management team. The role will oversee the Group's financial management and controllership functions while contributing to strategic corporate finance initiatives, investment decisions and overall business growth. This is a high-visibility position requiring both strong financial stewardship and commercial acumen.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the finance function and oversee day-to-day operations, financial closing, group consolidation and the preparation of timely and accurate financial and management reports.

• Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, including cash flow projections and working capital management.

• Ensure robust financial controls, accounting standards and regulatory compliance, while strengthening financial policies and reporting processes across the Group.

• Work closely with senior management and the Board on financial performance updates, business planning, investment decisions and strategic initiatives.

• Lead financial evaluation and execution of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and strategic investments.

• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis and investment assessments to support capital allocation and business decisions.

• Support the CFO in funding and capital management initiatives, including debt and equity fundraising, refinancing and negotiations with financial institutions.

• Provide oversight of Group liquidity, banking relationships and financial risk management, while supporting the development of appropriate funding and treasury strategies.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.

• At least 10–15 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in senior financial management and exposure to corporate finance, treasury or investment-related activities.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, valuation and capital management.

• Experience in corporate transactions, including M&A, fundraising, debt financing or refinancing exercises.

• Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, financial institutions, investors and professional advisers.

• Strong commercial judgement, leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate hands-on while maintaining a strategic perspective. Experience in real estate, healthcare, infrastructure or other investment-intensive sectors would be advantageous.
