Finance Director - Group Operations

Senior finance leader partnering with Operations to drive performance, profitability, and transformation in a healthcare manufacturer’s supply chain and manufacturing.
At Blackmores, we’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Finance Director – Group Operations to join our senior finance leadership team. This role will be a critical partner to our Operations leadership team, helping drive performance, value creation and long-term growth across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory and operational transformation initiatives.
Based in either our Surry Hills or Warriewood office, this role reports to Michelle Gough, the Deputy CFO, with a key business partnering relationship to the Chief Operating Officer.
What will you be doing?
• Lead the finance agenda for Operations, providing strategic financial leadership and commercial direction
• Partner with the COO and Operations leaders to improve business performance, productivity and profitability
• Provide oversight of planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and operational performance insights
• Lead financial governance across capital investment, working capital, inventory, procurement and manufacturing performance
• Support major transformation and operational improvement initiatives, ensuring benefits are realised and tracked
• Develop and lead a high-performing Operations Finance team
Who are you?
• An experienced senior finance leader with a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, consumer goods, healthcare, wellness or a similar operational environment
• CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
• Deep understanding of Operations finance including COGS, inventory, working capital, procurement and capital investment
• A trusted business partner who can influence senior stakeholders and translate data into meaningful commercial decisions
• Experienced in financial planning, forecasting, business performance management and transformation programs
• A collaborative leader who develops teams and fosters a culture of accountability, insight and continuous improvement
