Finance Executive
Summary
Maintains financial records, prepares reports, and handles audits for a Singapore-based company, primarily using accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the full set of accounts and ensure that accounting records are complete, accurate and up to date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and submit accounting reports and financial data through the Company’s financial systems and reporting platforms.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
- Compile and analyse project financial data, costs and financial performance.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, including the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents and responses to audit queries.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, supporting documents and financial filing systems.
- Assist with tax-related matters, statutory reporting and other compliance requirements, where applicable.
- Liaise with internal departments, project teams, external auditors and other stakeholders on accounting and finance matters.
- Perform other finance-related duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with experience in handling a full set of accounts, preparing financial statements and handling external audit matters.
- Experience in the construction will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Required to work with Chinese-language systems, documentation, and business communications provided by the China headquarters.
