Finance Executive (Fixed Assets & Lease Management) @ Lavendar | 2 Years Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fixed assets across headquarters, offsite locations
- Coordinate and support the annual fixed asset stock count exercise.
- Prepare and reconcile fixed asset count reports.
- Process asset capitalisation, transfers, disposals, and write-offs in the Workday system.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Respond to staff enquiries relating to fixed assets, including asset disposal, write-offs, stock counts, and capitalisation.
- Manage lease administration for facilities, leasehold land and void deck lease agreements.
- Monitor lease expiry dates and liaise with relevant divisions to obtain renewed lease agreements.
- Extract and compute lease contract values for lease accounting purposes.
- Support the recognition and maintenance of lease liabilities in accordance with accounting requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting.
- Handle approximately 400 fixed asset and lease-related transactions annually, including asset capitalisation, disposals, stock count reports, and lease renewals.
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets, Finance, Accounting, or Lease Administration. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of fixed asset management, asset capitalisation, depreciation, disposal, and lease accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
