Finance Executive

HEPMIL Singapore is looking for a Finance Executive for a full-time position based in Singapore. The role will report to the Finance Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items

  • Support statutory audit and tax reporting requirements

Shared Services Centre (SSC) Partnership

  • Serve as the point of contact between local finance stakeholders and SSC

  • Coordinate with SSC teams on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury matters

  • Monitor SSC service delivery and ensure transactions are processed in accordance with agreed timelines

  • Follow up on outstanding transactions, reconciliation issues, and month-end close deliverables

  • Escalate and resolve operational issues impacting financial reporting accuracy or timeliness

  • Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives between the business and SSC

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with Business and operations team to provide financial support

  • Respond to finance-related queries from stakeholders, with support from SSC

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Work closely with Tech team to identity opportunities and improve efficiency through automation

  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives and system integration projects

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Finance or Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent

  • At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in the related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Good knowledge in accounting systems (Xero and/or SAP would be advantageous)

  • Able to work in a fast pace environment

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English

  • Meticulous with strong analytic skills

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across teams and shared service functions
