Summary
Processes accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for a finance team in the insurance industry, supporting month-end closing and audits.
Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, staff claims, commissions, and inter-company payments.
Prepare payment runs, perform bank transfers, and reconcile bank accounts.
Support month-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
Assist with management reporting, variance analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Prepare data for GST, tax, statutory reporting, and support internal and external audits.
Support finance projects, process improvements, and system implementation initiatives.
Provide guidance to junior team members and perform other finance-related duties as assigned
