Finance & HR Manager – Vietnam
Job Purpose
The Finance & HR Manager is responsible for managing the finance, accounting, payroll and HR administration functions for Kinderland Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, payroll processing, internal controls and HR administrative support across all centres.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
• Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely monthly closing.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, supporting schedules and analysis.
• Handle billing, collections, payments, bank reconciliation and cash-flow monitoring.
• Monitor school fee collections, refunds, outstanding payments, centre expenses and budget control.
• Review supplier invoices, payment requests and supporting documents to ensure proper approval, documentation and compliance.
Tax, Audit & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Prepare or support tax filings, government reports, audit schedules and statutory submissions.
• Respond to tax, audit and regulatory queries with proper supporting documents.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks and relevant government authorities.
• Support internal control, compliance reviews and audit follow-up across all centres.
Payroll & HR Administration
• Oversee monthly payroll processing for all Vietnam centres.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll, PIT, social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance contributions.
• Support HR administration, including employment contracts, staff records, onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate with centre principals on staff movement, attendance, leave and payroll matters.
• Support HR reporting, manpower cost tracking, staff cost analysis and labour compliance requirements.
Business Support
• Work closely with centre principals, Vietnam management and Singapore HQ on finance and HR matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and centre performance reporting.
• Provide finance and HR support for new centre set-up and operational matters.
• Assist in process improvement, internal audit follow-up and management reporting.
• Perform any other duties or projects assigned by management.
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with payroll or HR administration exposure.
• Good knowledge of Vietnam accounting, tax, payroll, labour and statutory requirements.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate effectively with Singapore HQ, auditors, tax consultants, banks and government authorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll systems; detailed, hands-on, responsible and able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be willing to relocate to Vietnam or be based in Vietnam for the role.
