Project Info
ACCIONA's Plant and Equipment division supports major infrastructure projects across Australia, including rail, road, water and transmission works such as HumeLink East. The fleet underpins delivery of complex, large-scale construction programs nationally. This function is central to ACCIONA's growing infrastructure business, and strong financial leadership here is critical to project success.
About Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, Plant and Equipment, you will lead financial operations across a national function that supports ACCIONA's infrastructure project pipeline. You will manage a finance team, oversee transactions, reporting and budgeting, and provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership. This role calls for a confident leader who can build governance frameworks, strengthen financial controls and guide a team through complex, evolving priorities.
Key accountabilities for the position will be?
- Lead the finance team and set clear performance goals
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable and transactions
- Prepare financial reports and coordinate budgets
- Design and implement financial governance frameworks
- Advise leadership on finance strategy and risk
- Drive compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
- Optimise financial performance through analysis and planning
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Experience in month-end project financial analysis
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Proven leadership of finance teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
