Appian Asset Management Finance Manager
We are partnering with a growing, asset-backed Real Estate firm to appoint a Finance Manager.
This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role with real ownership and visibility across the business. You’ll play a key part in improving financial processes, strengthening controls, and supporting the continued growth of the finance function while managing a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the month-end close and management reporting cycle.
- Oversight of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
- Management of cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Responsibility for VAT, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
- Supervision of Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.
- Driving process improvements, systems optimisation, and scalability.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver clear commercial insights.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 2-5 years' PQE.
- Experience in a Finance Manager / Financial Controller-level role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including Irish GAAP / FRS 102 and VAT.
- Proven track record in managing month-end and delivering high-quality reporting.
- Strong Excel and finance systems capability.
Experience within real estate, asset-backed businesses, or SME finance environments would be considered a distinct advantage.
