Your role:
The Finance Manager will be managing end-to-end finance and accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, and audit coordination. This role will support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, performance reporting, and process improvements while ensuring strong financial controls, operational efficiency, and effective team management.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations ensuring accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and timely month-end/year-end closures
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management reports
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, project costs, operational expenses, and cash flow to support business planning and decision-making
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights, dashboards, and presentations to management for performance tracking and strategic planning
- Oversee vendor payments, payroll coordination, employee reimbursements, receivables collections, and working capital management
- Coordinate with business units on costing, pricing, cross charges, cost allocations, and financial feasibility of projects and operations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, statutory requirements, company policies, and internal financial controls
- Liaise with auditors, banks, consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities for finance-related matters and audit closures
- Maintain proper financial documentation, agreements, records, and audit trails across all finance activities
- Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies within the finance function
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and supporting capability development
- Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and business-critical assignments
Education & experience:
- Masters in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or MBA in Finance
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional finance qualification
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management, and business finance operations
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls
- Experience managing finance operations in a multi-department, project-based, or service-oriented environment
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, VAT regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes
- Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
