Job Summary

Drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decisions and operational efficiency at Bitsmedia, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimize resource use.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including accountants, auditors, shareholders, and financial advisors to align financial operations and ensure accuracy
• Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to support sustainable business growth
• Analyze profit and loss statements and performance dashboards to deliver actionable insights that guide resource allocation and improve operational efficiency
• Advise management on key financial metrics and recommend strategies to enhance financial performance and operational effectiveness
• Oversee risk management, operational scalability, and process efficiency to protect company assets and enable sustainable expansion
• Ensure compliance with accounting records, tax regulations, and relevant legal requirements to maintain regulatory standards
• Provide ongoing visibility into business performance to support informed day-to-day operational decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMP, CPA, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a start-up or growing technology company
• Proven experience collaborating with diverse international teams and managing corporate finance and equity fundraising processes
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using data visualization tools to enhance financial reporting and decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new financial guidelines and procedures in a fast-growing company environment
