Finance Manager (Cambridge, ENG)

I am delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in Cambridge with the recruitment of a Finance Manager. This is a senior finance position offering responsibility across a broad range of financial operations, including financial accounting, audit, treasury, tax, and payroll. The successful candidate will lead a small finance team, ensuring effective financial control, accurate reporting and the delivery of a high-quality finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting and control processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee treasury management, cash flow and banking arrangements.
• Maintain oversight of taxation, payroll and associated financial compliance requirements.
• Lead and support the finance team, while overseeing financial management relating to endowments.

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified
• Experienced in a senior finance role, with a strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting
• Confident managing audit processes, financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Able to demonstrate experience across areas such as treasury, taxation and payroll.
• An effective team leader with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.

This is a broad and varied Finance Manager position suited to a qualified finance professional looking to take ownership of a diverse finance function within an established Cambridge organisation.
