Finance Manager

Compensation: ₦300,000 gross monthly (slightly negotiable)

About the Role

EISS is seeking a disciplined Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial risk management, ensuring accurate reporting and sound financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and management accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial records.
• Implement financial controls and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets.
• Manage monthly payroll and statutory remittances, including taxes and pensions.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and IFRS standards.
• Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor liquidity and operational risks and provide financial insights to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Mandatory ICAN or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ end-to-end accounting experience, preferably in a consulting firm or fast-paced startup.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pension remittances, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting CRM tools, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial forecasts under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional integrity.
