Job Responsibilities
Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations for two company entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, GST regulations, corporate taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
Handle GST submissions, corporate tax matters and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities.
Identify opportunities to improve existing finance processes, streamline workflows and reduce manual accounting tasks.
Implement process improvements, system enhancements and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise and guide a small finance team of two staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and timely completion of tasks.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and provide financial insights to support management decisions.
Work closely with management and other departments on financial and operational matters.
Handle other finance-related responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years of experience in finance team management or supervision.
Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounts, financial reporting, GST and Singapore corporate taxation.
Proven experience in finance process improvement, including streamlining accounting workflows, improving internal controls, automating tasks or enhancing accounting systems.
Experience overseeing multiple company entities and managing a small finance team.
Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and support management with financial reporting and analysis.
Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
