FINANCE MANAGER

Title: FINANCE MANAGER
Duration: 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee accounting operations, month-end closing, cash flow management, audit and tax compliance, financial reporting, and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Monitor and drive adherence to month-end and year-end closing timelines across finance and business stakeholders.
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance with accounting policies, and timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and investigate significant variances, ageing items, unreconciled balances, and unusual transactions.

Cash Flow Management

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor cash flow forecasts.
• Analyse cash flow trends and provide insights and recommendations to support effective cash flow planning and management.

Audit & Financial Compliance

• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, where applicable.
• Act as the primary finance contact for auditors and facilitate timely responses to audit queries.

Tax Compliance

• Review GST submissions and related reconciliations.
• Review Corporate Income Tax computations and filings prepared by tax agents.
• Liaise with tax agents and relevant authorities on tax-related matters.

Finance Operations & Administration

• Support finance-related administrative activities, including documentation, approvals, record management, and financial controls.
• Maintain and update finance policies, procedures, process documentation, and working instructions.
• Participate in finance transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience across external audit and commercial finance/accounting environments is preferred.
