Finance Manager

Our client, a privately owned real estate investment business operating across the UAE, is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations and ensure effective financial management across the business. Operating within an entrepreneurial environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing meaningful financial insight to support business decisions. The role will encompass the full range of day-to-day accounting and financial management responsibilities, including preparing financial statements and management accounts, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and managing budgets and forecasts. A key aspect of the position will be overseeing UAE tax compliance, including preparing and submitting VAT returns and corporate tax filings, ensuring deadlines are met and records are maintained in line with applicable requirements. You will also coordinate audit requirements, maintain robust financial controls and provide timely financial reporting to management. Experience with property-related accounting and real estate investment structures would be an advantage.

We are looking for a finance professional with a minimum of three years' relevant experience in accounting or finance, ideally gained within real estate, property investment or a related industry. A recognised professional accountancy qualification, preferably Chartered Accountant (CA), would be highly desirable. Candidates must have a sound understanding of financial reporting, UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements, with the practical ability to manage tax submissions and compliance independently. Previous UAE experience is essential to ensure familiarity with local accounting practices and regulatory requirements. Equally important is a proactive and commercially minded approach. The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical and comfortable taking ownership of the finance function, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining confidentiality.
